Candidates are expected to be self-motivated, have good math background and good programming skills. Preference will be given to candidates with research experiences in machine/deep learning and generative AI.  Interested candidates can send your detailed CV and transcripts to Prof. Yong Ge at yongge@arizona.edu.

Prof. Yong Ge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona. He received the Ph.D. in Information Technology from Rutgers University, the M.S. in Information Processing from the University of Science and Technology of China, and the B.S. in Information Engineering from Xi’an Jiao Tong University. His research interests include data mining, machine/deep learning, AI, healthcare analytics and recommender systems. He received NSF CAREER Award 2019 and IEEE ICDM Best Research Paper Award 2011. He has published prolifically in refereed journals and conference proceedings, such as IEEE TKDE, ACM TOIS, MIS Quarterly, ACM TKDD, ACM SIGKDD, and IEEE ICDM.
